‘Sport teaches you character, it teaches you to play by the rules, it teaches you to know what it feels like to win and lose - it teaches you about life.’
National Sports Day, celebrated on 29th August each year, transformed into a thrilling Sports Week this year, immersing learners of grades IV-XII in the vibrant world of indigenous games. From the energetic clashes of Pitthu and Maram Pitti to the playful balance of Tyre Rolling and the agility of Langdi, each activity was a celebration of tradition and teamwork. Kho-Kho and Tug of War added a spirited edge, blending physical challenge with cultural pride. This lively week offered a refreshing break from academics, weaving together fitness, fun, and cultural heritage into an unforgettable experience that invigorated both body and spirit.
