Malgudi’s Magic: Celebrating Childhood Through Timeless Tales
“Children are the world’s most valuable resources and its best hope for the future.”
Celebrating the spirit of childhood, our Grade I learners transported us to a bygone era with the Annual Presentation, ‘Malgudi Memoirs – Reliving the Golden Days,’ held on Friday, 13th September. With vivid imaginations and earnest performances, the children brought to life the simple joys and stories of the past, leaving an indelible mark on all who attended.
The event was graced by our esteemed Chairperson Mrs Jaspreet Kaur & Mrs Sureena Uppal, Member of the Managing Committee and our Chief Guest, Ms. Meenakshi M. Singh, a distinguished author whose achievements have inspired many along with our Director Principal Mrs Anita Malhotra. Their presence added warmth and a special touch to the occasion.
Our enthusiastic learners took the stage with confidence and charm, bringing Malgudi to life through innocent expressions and joyful performances. The choir’s rendition of 'Chhote Chhote Tamashe' beautifully captured the essence of life’s simplest pleasures. Each scene, culminating in graceful dances, left the audience spellbound and filled the auditorium with cheers, laughter, and immense pride.
The event was a testament to the dedication of our young stars, whose efforts turned the presentation into an unforgettable celebration of creativity and childhood joy. As the final curtain fell, the beaming smiles and jubilant faces of the children marked a memory to be cherished for years.
