On the occasion of Hindi Diwas, 14 th September 2024, the school culminated the celebrations of the day on 17 th September 2024, by organising a diverse range of activities for learners across Grades IV to X to deepen their appreciation for the Hindi language.
Grade IV and V students engaged in the art of narration by recounting Indian folktales in groups with muted audio, fostering creative storytelling skills. Grade VI students showcased their poetic talents by reciting selected Hindi poems, while Grade VII learners participated in conversations using rhyming couplets (dohe), incorporating multilingual elements.
Grade VIII students utilized idioms in dialogues to enhance their understanding of Hindi expressions. Grade IX students presented short dramatizations to illustrate the meanings of idioms, and Grade X students delivered persuasive speeches imagining themselves as candidates for School Captain, honing their public speaking skills. Each activity was designed to promote engagement, creativity, and a deeper connection to Hindi language and literature.
