Lotus Valley International School, Gurugram organized an exhilarating 2-night, 3-day field trip for Grade V learners to Sariska Rockport Camp in two group from 1 st -3 rd and 3 rd -5 th October’24 respectively. The trip was designed to instill independence, teamwork, and social-emotional growth.
Learners took part in various guided activities, where each activity was carefully crafted to enhance teamwork, observation, communication, and navigational abilities. Adding to the fun, students enjoyed a lively DJ night, dancing and bonding with friends on the dance floor.
One of the highlights was a captivating stargazing session under the guidance of an astronomer, where students observed celestial wonders like Cassiopeia, the Summer Triangle, the North Star (Polaris), and Saturn with its magnificent rings through a technical telescope. The trip also included a jungle safari, where wildlife sightings enriched students' understanding of biodiversity and wildlife conservation.
This field trip was a memorable blend of adventure and education, cultivating a deep appreciation for nature, wildlife, and the power of teamwork. It not only encouraged personal growth but also created lifelong memories and friendships, embodying the spirit of learning through experience.
