“Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.”
Commemorating the groundbreaking Pokhran nuclear tests conducted on May 11, 1998, which showcased India’s prowess in nuclear technology, National Technology Day 2024 marked yet another significant milestone for the nation. The school celebrated the day on 14th May 2024 across grades IV-XII. From PowerPoint and HTML CSS web page-based activities, to creating storyboards, the learners of grades IV-VIII explored a multitude of tech-based avenues for their creative expression. Grades IX to XII, on the other hand, participated in engaging quiz competitions and group discussions around the pivotal role of AI and its implications on the world around us. It helped learners engage in a thoughtful reflection on technological developments, both historical and contemporary, and to inspire them to think about their roles in the technology-driven world. Under the theme for 2024, School to Startups-Igniting Young Minds to Innovate, these activities sought to further the learners’ immersion into the world of new-age technology.
