A POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Training Session was conducted for teachers on December 28th, 2024 to enhance awareness and preparedness in creating a safe and respectful environment for both students and staff. The session covered various forms of sexual harassment, including verbal, physical, and online misconduct, and provided practical guidance on how to recognize, address, and prevent such behaviour. Teachers were educated on the legal frameworks and school policies surrounding harassment, ensuring teachers understood their responsibilities in responding to and reporting incidents.
The training also emphasized the importance of building a culture of respect and inclusion within the school. Teachers were encouraged to model appropriate behavior, maintain professional boundaries, and engage in proactive measures to prevent harassment. Through case studies and examples, educators were equipped with the skills to effectively address potential issues and promote a positive and safe learning environment. The session concluded with a commitment from all participants to uphold these principles and contribute to a harassment-free school culture.
