LANGUAGE ESSENTIALS - GRAMMAR AND BEYOND FOR TEACHERS FROM THE NGO – R.N. MALHOTRA AND ANNA R. MALHOTRA CHARITABLE TRUST SATURDAY, 28TH DECEMBER 2024
"Teach a student and you impact a life; train a teacher and you impact generations."
This inspiring thought, often emphasized by Director-Principal Ms. Anita Malhotra, encapsulates the ethos of Lotus Valley International School, Gurugram. With an unwavering commitment to community service and the belief that shared knowledge enriches all, the school conducted another transformative training session for teachers from the R.N. Malhotra and Anna R. Malhotra Charitable Trust.
The workshop, titled "Bridging Gaps: Language Essentials - Grammar and Beyond," was held on Saturday, 28th December 2024, under the able mentorship of Ms. Malhotra. The visiting teachers were warmly welcomed, and the session began with a reflective discussion on the impact of previous workshops. Vice-Principal (Primary and Middle Wing), Ms. Ritu Jawa, led a focussed session on the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) and National Curriculum Framework (NCF-FS), emphasizing their relevance and transformative role in today's education system. The core of the workshop explored foundational language concepts such as Nouns, Pronouns, Verbs, Subject and Predicate, and Subject-Verb Agreement through engaging, application-based activities. The sessions were thoughtfully designed to ensure an interactive and enjoyable learning experience. The English facilitators, Ms. Charu Bhambri and Ms. Tripti Awasthi, along with Academic Supervisor Ms. Nilisha Chhabra, created a highly engaging environment. Personalized attention was given to address each participant's queries, leaving them motivated and equipped with enhanced language and teaching skills.
The workshop ended on a satisfying note, reaffirming the school's dedication to empowering educators and, in turn, creating a lasting impact on the lives of countless students.
