Farewell Ceremony for Students of Grade XII
Students of Grade XI at Lotus Valley International School, Gurgaon bade a glitzy farewell to their seniors in Grade XII (batch of 2024-25) on 28th December, 2024 in the school auditorium. The title ‘Noor-e-Quafila’, meaning ‘light of the caravan’, symbolized the inspiration for the outgoing Lotusians to carry forward the rich legacy of knowledge and values imparted by their Alma Mater into life beyond school. Grade XII, dressed in their resplendent best, were accorded nothing short of a red-carpet welcome by their enthusiastic juniors who played the perfect hosts.
The programme commenced with the customary Teeka ceremony, followed by a sacred Hawan , invoking the Almighty to bless the students as they brace themselves to turn a new leaf in their academic journey following the forthcoming CBSE Board Exams. The cultural programme affectionately curated by Grade XI learners, featured enthralling performances, with especially ‘Ruhaaniyat – Raga of Memories’ captivating hearts and evoking a deep sense of nostalgia. Heartfelt citations and thought-provoking, gratitude-filled speeches by members of the student council added profound meaning to the event, while Director-Principal Ms. Anita Malhotra’s loving blessings, coupled with her invaluable words of wisdom, left the audience misty-eyed. Her stirring words to the outgoing batch “As you move forward, know that you will always have a home here. The friendships you have forged, the memories you have created will bind you to this community and always be part of the Lotus Valley legacy," encapsulated the essence of the farewell. The Mosaic of Reminiscences i.e the farewell video beautifully delineated the shared experiences of the graduating Lotusians.
The day concluded with a sumptuous lunch, followed by an exuberant DJ session where moments of fun, laughter, and camaraderie created an affair to remember and cherish for a lifetime.
