Grade VIII Educational Tour to the Badshahpur Forest Corridor
Our Director Principal, Anita Malhotra Ma’am, emphasizes that proper education goes beyond the classroom, empowering learners with the knowledge and responsibility to build a sustainable future. Reflecting this vision, our Grade VIII learners embarked on an educational tour of the Badshahpur Forest Corridor Recycle Unit in collaboration with the I am Gurgaon community initiative.
This immersive experience provided learners with firsthand insights into sustainable waste management practices. They engaged with experts to understand the importance of waste segregation and explored its economic, environmental, and humanitarian impact. The visit deepened their awareness of responsible waste disposal and its role in reducing ecological harm.
To reinforce their learning, students participated in a reflective workshop, where they assessed their waste management habits and identified practical ways to adopt more sustainable practices. They then showcased their insights through compelling role-play.
The tour was an eye-opening journey that empowered our learners to make informed decisions in their daily lives.
