Empowering teachers is paramount to the success of an institution. Lotus Valley International School, believes in providing teachers the right opportunities to engage in constructive workshops that can further upskill them. Under the able guidance of the Director-Principal, Ms. Anita Malhotra, Academic Supervisors, Ms. Hina Naqvi and Ms. Nilisha Chhabra attended the workshop on Inclusive Education at The British School on 22nd February, 2025.
The workshop aimed to reinforce the understanding of the need for Individualised Education Plans and transaction of the same in classrooms.
The workshop began with an icebreaking session wherein participants were grouped and some rapport building activities were conducted. Further to this, the resource person, Ms. Anamika Ghose along with her SEND Department team emphasized the importance of documentation, planning and collaboration. Various activities that made the sessions engaging were discussions on case studies and examples from classrooms that led to a deeper understanding of applying inclusion in classrooms. It was an enriching learning experience, cultivating professional collaboration and exchange of ideas to provide a fulfilling inclusive environment to children.
