“The science of today is the technology of tomorrow.” – Edward Teller
Recognising the vital role technology plays in transforming our world, Lotus Valley International School, celebrated National Technology Day with great enthusiasm. Our young innovators from FS1 to Grade III, embarked on an exciting journey through the world of gadgets and digital tools exploring, imagining and understanding how technology fuels progress and enriches everyday life.
From smart devices to robots, FS learners were introduced to everyday tech through fun, hands-on experiences. Our little techies of FS1 students crafted fingerprint laptops after exploring gadgets like smart TVs, tablets and Alexa. Our FS2 learners created colourful gadget models after watching a video on technology use while FS3 learners-built robots from cylinders, gaining insight into robotics and its real-world applications. In Grades I to III, learners imagined new inventions, stepped into the shoes of iconic inventors and traced the evolution of technology. Our inquisitive minds of Grade I drew and labelled creative inventions in My Magic Machine activity. Similarly Grade II learners captivated the audience with their Mini Tech Talk by dressing up as inventors or gadgets and speaking about their roles. Likewise, our Grade III learners showcased their understanding through a Tech Timeline poster activity that mapped the journey from past tools to present innovations.
The celebration ignited curiosity and creativity, inspiring our young techies to think big, innovate boldly and embrace technology with purpose and responsibility.
