"Relationships are the agents of change and the most powerful therapy is human love." — Dr. Bruce Perry
At Lotus Valley School, Gurugram, we deeply value the partnership between a child, their mother and a mentor, recognizing it as fundamental to fostering a nurturing environment where each child feels supported, guided and empowered to grow both academically and personally. This philosophy was beautifully reflected during our recent exhilarating ‘Pool Fun Day’ celebration with the learners of Grade FS3 and their mothers.
The celebration began with a warm welcome as mothers were adorned with beautiful bead necklaces, lovingly handmade by our little learners as a heartfelt token of their love and appreciation. The highlight of the day was the lively splash pool session, where moms and children dove into fun-filled water play, deepening their special bond through shared laughter and joy. Mentors joined in the festivities, adding to the spirit of togetherness and fun. A cheerful breakfast followed, with delicious food, lively music and meaningful conversations flowing freely. The day ended on a sweet note as FS3 learners gifted their moms’ handcrafted keepsakes, simple yet touching mementos of a day brimming with connection, joy and lasting memories.
Pool Fun Day was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impression on everyone involved. It truly reflected our commitment to holistic development and the strengthening of relationships within our school community.
