The morning of 22nd July began on a bright note for the students of Grade 6 Brahmaputra and Ganges, as they presented a thought-provoking and inspiring class assembly on the theme “The Art of Recovering from Failure.” The assembly was an earnest attempt to explore how setbacks are not the end but stepping stones to future success.
The programme included a soulful choir performance that resonated with the message of hope and resilience. This was followed by a compelling skit that included interviews with stalwarts from the past and present who have faced failure and overcome it with positive thinking, support from peers, and the inner strength that helped them overcome such moments. The performance not only showcased the acting talents of the learners but also conveyed an important life lesson with sensitivity and clarity. A vibrant dance performance brought the assembly to a close, symbolising the joy of bouncing back and the rhythm of life that continues despite hurdles.
The assembly served as a reminder to all present that failure is not something to fear but a vital part of growth. The loving and positive presence of the Academic Supervisor (Grades VI-VIII), Ms Hina Naqvi, added charm to the morning and propelled the learners to put their best foot forward. All in all, the confident and enthusiastic presentation by students was applauded by parents and teachers alike, making the morning both meaningful and memorable.
