Lotus Valley International School, Gurugram, Celebrates Independence Day with Patriotic Zeal
“Our freedom is a gift; let’s cherish it by building a stronger tomorrow.”
The campus echoed with pride and enthusiasm as we celebrated Independence Day with grandeur. The day began with the flag hoisting by the respected Director- Principal Mrs. Anita Malhotra with her inspiring address, where she energised the youth to not ask what our nation can do for us, but what we can do for our nation — starting today, with small acts that make a big difference. Being responsible citizens and contributing in their way. The Director-Principal called upon the learners to cherish and take pride in our nation. Her motivational address was followed by the national anthem sung in unison by all present. Vibrant patriotic song Tiranga, a themed song that expressed national pride, love, and the spirit of holding the flag high, captivated all. This followed by the release of balloons, the dynamic dance performances on Jagga Jitiya and Rang de Basanti added a cultural charm to the celebration. A celebration that truly reflected the spirit of our nation!
The spirited compering by Cultural Heads, Aadhya Gupta and Aditya Thakur, showcased their unique take on freedom and patriotism, filling the audience with inspiration.
The sky came alive as tricolour balloons were released by the Vice Principals and staff members, symbolising unity and hope, while kite flying brought joy and colour to the day. The festivities concluded on an exhilarating and celebratory note with the gathering brimming with patriotic verve.
