“Building Teacher Capacity, Fuelling Student Growth.”

A Capacity Building Programme (CBP) on The Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Classroom was conducted at Lotus Valley International School, Gurugram, with active participation from 60 educators across disciplines. The session aimed to equip teachers with knowledge and practical tools to integrate AI in teaching.

Educators were introduced to the concept and types of AI—narrow, general, and super AI—followed by discussions on its scope in education for personalisation, engagement, and accessibility. Live demonstrations of tools such as Brisk Teaching, Napkin AI, Khanmigo, MagicSchool AI, ChatGPT, GoogleLabs, and Perplexity AI highlighted their classroom applications.

Hands-on activities included lesson planning, assessment, creating AI-generated songs and debates, and designing AI robots. The programme concluded with a feedback session, where participants expressed enthusiasm and readiness to adopt AI in their teaching practices.

The CPB successfully raised awareness, built capacity, and inspired educators to embrace AI as a transformative force in classrooms.
