Grade V learners of Lotus Valley International School, Gurugram, embarked on an exhilarating two-night, three-day Rocksport Residential Programme at Ranthambore, fostering excitement, discovery, and teamwork in two groups post their assessments. The journey began with a fun-filled road trip marked by songs, laughter, and shared meals.
On arrival, after a nourishing lunch, the young adventurers ventured into the Ranthambore forest for a thrilling safari. Spotting wildlife in their natural habitat and identifying pug marks sparked wonder and curiosity. As dusk fell, the group gathered for sharing stories and laughter before enjoying a cozy dinner and retiring for the night.
Day two kicked off with a captivating visit to the historic Ranthambore Fort, where tales of valour and heritage came alive amid its towering ruins. Back at the camp, a hearty breakfast fuelled a line-up of team-building and adventure activities: Raft Building for aquatic teamwork;
High Rope Course (HRC) testing balance and bravery at heights; Mission Impossible, a clever strategy challenge; Knot Making for essential outdoor skills; and Where Is My Monkey, a trust game. Post-lunch interactive games and reflections deepened connections. The evening culminated in a lively DJ night under the stars, followed by a sumptuous dinner.
The final morning brought serene reflection sessions, where students shared feedback and insights.
With hearts full of joy and minds enriched by experience, the group set off for school, carrying lasting memories of friendship, courage, and adventure.
This Ranthambore escapade was more than a school trip—it was a transformative journey that nurtured self-reliance, resilience, and meaningful bonds with nature and peers.
