A Capacity Building Programme (CBP) was conducted on 27th Sept’25 at Lotus Valley International School, Gurugram on the theme “Walking the Extra Mile” for the faculty members. The session was facilitated by the Resource Person Ms. Mona Verma and Mr. Surinder Hali, who brought a wealth of experience and insight to the training. The programme aimed to empower teachers with practical strategies for personal and professional growth.
The first module focused on breaking gender stereotypes and biases, encouraging educators to foster inclusivity in classrooms. The second module explored how habits are formed and how they can be reshaped to improve efficiency and well-being. The third module introduced techniques for speed reading and memory retention to enhance comprehension and productivity. The 4th and the final module centred on goal setting, guiding teachers to define and pursue SMART Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time -Bound goals aligned with their roles.
Each module was supported by interactive and thought-provoking activities, which kept the participants engaged and encouraged meaningful reflection. The Session was impactful, energizing, and left teachers motivated to walk the extra mile in their educational journey.
