The learners of Grade III Hornbills presented their Class Assembly, themed ‘Dignity of Labour’, to honour the hard-working labourers and workers on 6th May 2024. The assembly began with a prayer led by our Director-Principal, Ms. Anita Malhotra, which set an uplifting tone for the occasion.
The learners' interpretation of the theme reflected their deep commitment and profound respect for all forms of work. Their passionate engagement with the subject highlighted the essential roles our everyday helpers play in our lives, underscoring their indispensable contributions with admiration and gratitude.
The learners’ shared their research on the theme through a variety of engaging methods. They shared news about labour, labour day traditions, laws and rights pertaining to labour. Adding a personal touch, they shared anecdotes and experiences with school helpers, complemented by lively skit presentations that enriched everyone's understanding of the theme.
The assembly culminated in a vibrant dance tribute to all helpers, embodying the spirit of gratitude and recognition. This was followed by a pledge taken by the learners, committing to appreciate, respect and value the contributions of every individual in society. The event concluded with an inspiring message by the Director-Principal, leaving the audience moved and motivated
